According to the Soil and Groundwater Pollution Control Act, the EPA sets 463 regional groundwater monitoring wells, measured items include: water temperature, pH, conductivity, TDS (total dissolved solid), total hardness, NH3-N, nitrate nitrogen, sulfate, total organic carbon, chloride, and heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Cr Cu, Se, Zn, Mn and Fe).
